Claiming Rewards or Refunds

Once a pool is finalized, users can burn their Liquid Contribution Tokens (LCTs) to redeem project tokens or receive a refund, but only in specific cases.

This is how it works:

  1. Claiming Project Tokens If the pool is successfully funded and the project has gone through its Token Generation Event (TGE), users can burn their LCTs to claim their share of the project's tokens. The exact ratio is defined and published by Contribo based on the total pool size and token allocation received.

  2. Refunds (Conditional) Refunds are only available if the pool fails to reach its minimum funding cap and development never begins. In such cases, users can burn their LCTs to receive a refund in stablecoins (e.g. USDC).
